Personnel training is an important aspect of interaction between SEZ "Lipetsk" and the Bunin Elets State University. In fact, the University has become a source of personnel for the special economic zone residents. By 2024 it is planned to train about 275 high-level specialists who would meet the requirements of the Elets area residents.
The SEZ "Lipetsk" Elets site is the key employer partner of the Bunin Elets State University, where training of specialists is carried out primarily taking into account the needs of the region. The University is focused on training scientific personnel for machine-building production, agriculture, economy and education.
The ESU is strongly developing new educational directions in chemistry, technology of processing of agricultural products, electronics and nanoelectronics, engineering, information technologies, artificial intelligence, tourism, economics and management, law, journalism and mass media, etc.
Since 2007, the University has been implementing educational programs that train specialists demanded by the residents of the Elets site: Agronomy (bachelor's, master's, postgraduate), Agroengineering (bachelor's), Technology of production and processing of agricultural products (secondary vocational education and bachelor's).
IT graduates are in demand for the SEZ "Lipetsk" residents.
The University is also ready to implement educational programs at the request of the Elets residents, including targeted training under appropriate contracts.
An interesting experience of advanced interaction with a potential employer is demonstrated by the University in cooperation with "Syngenta" company, which offers agricultural producers a wide range of seeds and plant protection products, as well as comprehensive professional protection programs.
