On the agenda – new points of growth, support of innovative and high-tech industries, increasing their share in the economy, assessment of the investment opportunities of the regions, and prospects for territorial development.
The topics for discussion were: Focus on national investors, import substitution 2.0, practice of the Federal Law "On Protection and Promotion of Investments in the Russian Federation", cooperation and clustering, technology (innovation) cost reduction - digitalization, adaptive technologies, the COVID-19 pandemic and new investment niches.
The International Economic Forum was organized by the Government of the Kaluga Region and the Association of Innovative Regions of Russia. The main day of the forum is June 29.
Simultaneously with the forum, the XVI Russian-German Conference of Partner Cities – an important component of bilateral relations between Russia and Germany – began its work.
