Lipetsk Special Economic Zone becomes the first SEZ in Russia to complete the infrastructural development of one of its sites

Lipetsk SEZ JSC Managing company celebrates two occasions today – the 12th anniversary since its establishment back in 2006 and an overall completion of all infrastructural works at Gryazi site, the first stage area of 1024 he. Lipetsk project is the first among deferral industrial SEZs to achieve a milestone like this.
The ceremony was attended by Deputy Head of Department for SEZs and Regional Development of the Ministry of Economic Akhmeeva Elmira, Governor of the Lipetsk Region Oleg Korolev, CEOs of the special economic zone tenant companies, representatives of state departments and agencies.
The Gryazi site infrastructure includes power substations with the total capacity exceeding 300 MW, piped-gas network, water supply and sewage network, road and railways connections, communication lines, business centres, a major Engineering Monitoring Centre, etc. The ready-to-use infrastructure gives tenants opportunities to significantly cut costs and increase operation efficiency.
Currently, the proportion of public and private investments in Lipetsk SEZ is 1:6 RUB.
22 SEZ resident companies are on operation as of today.
