The Italian ambassador to Russia visited a plant in Lipetsk.
MILAN (MF-DJ) – The Italian mission headed by Ambassador to Russia Pasquale Terracciano attended LUVE Group plant during its visit to Lipetsk and Voronezh on 14–15 March.
The trip was agreed with the governors of both regions and organized by the Italian consulate in Lipetsk in cooperation with the Italian Embassy, ICE and the Association of Italian Businesses. The delegation included more than 20 representatives of Italian companies.
The Italians expressed their interest in exporting to, and investing in, the regions where Italian companies are already operating.
Lu-Ve Group was chosen out of the Lipetsk SEZ tenants because its subsidiary SEST-LUVE has operated here since 2007.

The Italian ambassador later visited the Pirelli Russia plant, which plans to increase its capacity, participated in the lecture on Russian-Italian relations at the Voronezh State University, and inaugurated a new head office of the Italian Honorary Consulate. This was the first business mission carried out by the Italian representatives in this region.
The Lipetsk visit was very eventful and included discussions on many business issues.
Pasquale Terracciano met Lipetsk Governor Igor Artamonov and signed a number of important agreements between Italia’s state-run companies Coparm (waste recycling) and Unionwire (domestic appliances) and Russian businesses. Then he participated in the opening ceremony for Fondital’s plant (production of heating boilers) in the Lipetsk SEZ.
Finally, the ambassador attended other Italian companies, including Sest-Luve (refrigerating equipment), Fenzi (sealants for glass products) and Alu-Pro (aluminum profiles for insulating glass units).

Russian-Italian Relationship: Diplomatic Mission Headed By Ambassador Pasquale Terracciano Visited Voronezh and Lipetsk.
Moscow, Aise – Italian Ambassador to Russia Pasquale Terracciano headed the mission to Voronezh and Lipetsk which was organized by the Italian Honorary Consulate in cooperation with ICE, the Italian trade agency, and the Italian Businesses Council in Russia.
According to the Italian Embassy, the mission involved representatives of 26 Italian companies that expressed their interest in exporting to, and investing in, these important Russian industrial centers demonstrating great economic growth for the last two years.
In particular, the Voronezh Region is a Russian leader in terms of industrial and agricultural development, while the Lipetsk Region offers the best legislative and business conditions for investors and hosts one of the largest and most developed Russian special economic zones.
After the opening ceremony for the Italian-Russian Business Forum in Voronezh, Ambassador Pasquale Terracciano had a meeting with Voronezh Governor Alexander Gusev. Following the meeting Pasquale Terracciano attended Pirelli Russia’s factory, which intends to increase its capacity, delivered a lecture on the Russian-Italian relations at the Voronezh State University, and inaugurated a new head office of the Italian Honorary Consulate.
