SEZ "Lipetsk" provided a recreation area for the participants of the Silk Road rally

Members of the crews and the organizing committee of the rally-raid stopped for the night in Lipetsk to gain strength before the finish march to Moscow.

Midsummer is once again highlighted by a major international rally Silk Road. In 2022 the competition takes place from July 6 to 16, along the Astrakhan-Moscow route. More than half of the length of the rally route (total length makes 4,464 kilometers) are high-speed sections.
For the first time the race crossed Dagestan and the Chechen Republic. The crews also drove through Kalmykia, Volgograd and Tula regions.

Lipetsk region hosted the participants of the Silk Road rally on Friday, July 15, arranging bivouac on the Gryazi site of SEZ "Lipetsk". The SEZ management company provided a free area for the crews and members of the organizing committee to rest, with parking for cars and access to the necessary energy resources, primarily water and electricity. Comfortable conditions during this overnight stay are extremely important for the rally participants. After the long rally they have very little time to tidy up their vehicles and get some rest before the final rally.

On the morning of Saturday, July 16, the crews will set off for the 10th and final stage of the rally, which must finish in Moscow. The route promises to be difficult: 513 kilometers of unpaved roads, twisting and wading. In the capital, after the awarding ceremony the winners of the race will have a meeting with fans of auto and motor sport.
