A unique format of the meeting was presented by the employees of SEZ "Lipetsk".
An online tour of the operating enterprises and investment territories of the region was organized for the Chinese colleagues. Thus, the guests visited the operating production facilities of the Angel East Rus (a division of the Chinese company Angel Yeast Co., Ltd. - one of the world's largest yeast producers), the plant "LWM RUS" (Russia's leading producer of frozen potatoes), virtually visited the Gryazi and Elets sites of the SEZ "Lipetsk", as well as the industrial site of Eletsprom.
The Russian side presented a number of projects for implementation in the Lipetsk region, in particular the creation of an engineering cluster of Chinese manufacturers, the construction of warehouse distribution centers and the development of information cooperation between the business of the Lipetsk region and members of the Chamber. In addition, in an open dialogue the local producers discussed with the members of the Chamber new opportunities in supply of equipment and technological support.
President of Chinese Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products, Mr. Zhang Yujing appreciated the investment potential of the Lipetsk region, emphasizing that the region is attractive for Chinese business. The meeting was also attended by Mr. Zhang Dong, Deputy Head of Administration of the SCO China Regional Trade and Economic Cooperation Pilot Zone, Mr. Sheng Guofei, Director of Foreign Investment Promotion Department of China Chamber of Commerce for Imports and Exports of Machinery and Electronic Products. More than 100 leading Chinese companies of the Chamber members had an opportunity to evaluate the potential of the Lipetsk region.

The Lipetsk region is a small region in the center of the European part of Russia and location of our production facilities makes it possible to cover practically all sales directions. In addition, we are rich in processing industry and are leaders in the country in terms of foreign investments. As for the SEZ "Lipetsk", we have long held the top positions in national rankings, but for us is much more important positive feedback from our operating enterprises, " said the General Director of the SEZ "Lipetsk" Roman Petrukhin.
