Alexander Bazaev, Director of the regional Investment Development Agency, took part in a business meeting devoted to the aspects of industrial parks of the Russian Federation in the new realities. Representatives of various business councils, chambers of commerce, business development centers and large enterprises discussed anti-crisis development strategies for SEZs and industrial sites, mechanisms of interaction with residents, case studies and best practices of working with investors.
Among the main issues was the topic of the "Russian-Turkish Dialogue" Association (https://t.me/RT_Dialog), which today actively organizes business missions of Russian regions to the Republic of Turkey. In June at the international economic forum in St. Petersburg the Deputy Governor of the Lipetsk region Sergey Kurbatov and the Vice-President of the Association Maria Suvorovskaya signed an agreement on cooperation in the sphere of development of bilateral investments.
The document provides for the growth of the industrial potential and increase of the investment attractiveness of the region, implementation of joint projects, increase of mutual exports and investments.
Today Russia is a major trade partner of Turkey. As Maria Suvorovskaya noted, the business mission opens serious prospects for the companies, planning to enter the export market. During the period of two-four months they will have time to perform market research, as well as to arrange a commercial offer and work out warm contacts.
Specialists of SEZ "Lipetsk" and the Investment Development Agency of the Lipetsk region have revised and transformed the approaches to attract new projects, said the director of the agency Alexander Bazaev. In particular, it concerns the reorientation to the countries of Asia and the East. The region can offer new partners points of investment growth in almost every municipality.
"The Lipetsk region has already gained the trust of major companies of world renown, which have opened their production facilities in our territory and successfully develop them. We have the necessary infrastructure and good economic indicators. Moreover, the region ranks among the top five in terms of quality of life and agricultural output in the Central Federal District. We are in the top five regions of Russia for the implementation of ESG. We are also leaders in direct foreign investment. All these facts allow us to consider our region as a reliable partner, both for Russian and foreign investors," said Alexander Bazaev.
The most promising sectors of development in the Lipetsk region are the production of building materials, equipment and metalworking, agricultural complex. The region is traditionally among the first in the rate of construction, steel production, agricultural and food products. Logistics is an equally important factor. The Lipetsk Region is located at the intersection of the main highways (M-4 "Don") and railroads, where live about 100 million of potential consumers within a radius of 1,000 kilometers.
