On April 29, 2016 at the Expert Council meeting in the Ministry of Economy 3 more investment projects were approved to be implemented in Lipetsk Special Economic Zone. Another 2 operating SEZ tenants were applying for existing projects expansion. The joint worth of all the investment application submitted exceeds 18 bn.rub.

On April 25, 2016 Mr. Ulrich Bettermann flew to Lipetsk to oversee how OBO team in Lipetsk Special Economic Zone are going through the wrap-up preparations for the factory launch scheduled for the upcoming September.

11 - 15 April, 2016 the newly appointed President of Lifan Industry (Group) Co. Ltd Mr Mou Gang discussed the current status and the further roadmap on setting up another LIFAN full-cycle production facility in Russia in the Special Industrial Economic Zone “Lipetsk” with the head of SEZ JSC Managing Company Mr Ivan Koshelev.

Mr. PARK Robyug Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to the Russian Federation accompanied by the a group of Korean entrepreneurs staying on a two-day visit to the Lipetsk Region visited Lipetsk Special Economic Zone yesterday where they were acquainted with the system of state benefits and incentives offered to investors within the SEZ framework. The group included a number of renowned Korean companies - Navien Rus, CJ Bio Rus, POSCO, AECOM, HTNS, Intraros, SD system, JS Trading and MS Leemon.
