Today PRESTORUS is a diversified company with solid experience in the development, practical use and production of modern geosynthetics materials and it is located in the Lipetsk SEZ. The materials are used in the oil and gas, road, rail, military and other industries in the construction of roads, strengthening slopes, with shore protection and landscape design.

On Thursday, 27 June, the Lipetsk Special Economic Zone hosted a time capsule ceremony that marked the start of construction at a new site. Rustark, the new factory, will process wheat into starch products and biopolymers, which are innovative materials for the production of environmentally friendly plastics.

Chinese Businessmen Studied Investment Opportunities of Lipetsk SEZ

On 27 June, the Lipetsk Special Economic Zone will host a time capsule ceremony dedicated to the beginning of yet another construction project. Rustark, the new factory, will process wheat into starch products and biopolymers.

The Lipetsk SEZ hosted drone games as part of the measures to develop R&D activities and cooperation with educational institution of the Lipetsk Region. The Strategia Young Talent Center invited more than 40 kids to take part in the games.

On 7 June, Igor Artamonov, Acting Governor of the Lipetsk Region, met Renée Jones-Bos, Ambassador of the Netherlands to Russia, on the margins of the Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum. Shortly before, the Dutch delegation visited the Lipetsk Region on a business tour, and Ms. Jones-Bos expressed a wish to grow cooperation with the region.

Invest Foresight magazine has published its May 2019 National Investment Climate Ranking, with regions ranked by their score. The Lipetsk Region is investing in the development of the infrastructure for its tenants. Municipal budgets for 2019, 2020 and 2021 were amended during the 49th session of the Lipetsk Deputy Council of the fifth convocation. The Lipetsk tech park will receive RUB 128 million to prepare the sites for tenant companies and infrastructure. This work already has some results as three more companies have been selected to become tenants of Lipetsk Tech Park in May. The number of tenants in the tech park already totals 30.

On 23 May 2019, a delegation from the Netherlands visited the Lipetsk SEZ during the stay in the region. Among the delegates were representatives of the Dutch embassy and businesses. The Management Company told the guests about the investment potential and rapid development of the SEZ.
