Lipetsk Special Economic Zone Hosted Italian Business Forum
On 15 February 2017, the Lipetsk Special Economic Zone welcomed a delegation of Italian businessmen led by Italy's Ambassador to Russia Cesare Maria Ragaglini. The delegates represented more than 20 companies from different industries.

The Chairman of the Russian Federation Council Valentina Matvienko came to visit Special Economic Zone today.
While on a visit to Lipetsk region the acting chairman of the Federation Council of Russia Valentina Matvienko, accompanied by the Governor Oleg Korolev, inspected the course of Lipetsk special economic zone development and talked to the SEZ Managing company CEO Ivan Koshelev.

Lipetsk Special Economic Zone introduced to Italian manufacturers at the Investment Conference
The Investment Conference “Russia: New Pattern of Industrial Cooperation” held on November 10 – 11’2016 in Milan (Italy) addressed a most timely agenda of Russian localization for Italian producers. The conference was made possible thanks to the joint efforts of Special Economic Zones JSC (Russia) and Assolombarda Confindustria Milano, Monza e Brianza (Italy).

A Conference on SEZ customs regulations taking place in Lipetsk Special Economic Zone
October 20 2016, Lipetsk Special Economic Zone hosted a long-expected conference arranged by the Federal Customs Service of Russia. 22 special economic zones across the country joined in the discussion, some of them through video connection. The prime motive for summoning the conference was the pressing necessity to educate the SEZ tenant and managing companies on the new customs reality they will have to come to terms soon. The Customs Code for the Eurasian Economic Union, that has been going through protracted and painful ratification process by the member states, is finally announced to be adopted and come into effect in the early 2017.
